I will be travelling to Tanzania together with Leao to vistit Happy, Ilse and Modesta from 25 May to 5 June. I will work together with Happy to assist her in further setting up her experimental surveys and the logbook program.

During the meeting in Samarinda Simon discovered that many of you were not aware of the paper that we have been writing as a backgroudn document for the RESCOPAR project, in which we discuss two main strategies for reducing the impact of shrimp farming on coastal zones from the perspectives of the four themes in our project. The paper has now been submitted to Ecology and Society. A draft can be found on the RESCOPAR portal under Shared Documents (DELTA07_paper). Also the minutes of the scientific meeting are osted: they can be found under Second Scientific Meeting, where also all presentations are made available.
